Sometimes you want to avoid your users having to click one more link to get to something you want them to see. This is where embedding comes in handy. Instead of linking out to a blog or other 3rd party resource, you can embed it within your Clover site with the helpful tool of embedresponsively.com.
NOTE: Since the embed code comes from a 3rd party product, Clover Sites is unable to guarantee it'll work consistently throughout your site or the Greenhouse. Because this is an advanced feature, Clover Sites Support is not able to support issues with custom embed/HTML code.
Step 1. Copy the URL of the blog or 3rd party that you want to embed.
Step 2. Go to http://www.embedresponsively.com and click Generic iFrame at the top of the page.
Step 3. Replace the URL within the code below with your blog's URL and then click the Embed button.
Step 4. You will then see a preview of your blog below as well as an embed code. You will copy this code at the bottom, and continue to Step 5.
Step 5. Right click within your text box on your site (or Command + V on a Mac and Control + V on a PC) to paste your code onto the page.
Once pasted, you will see an Embedded Content box appear. You can now close from editing the section.
Step 6. You can click Preview to see what the embedded content looks like on your site. If you like what you see, go ahead and press the Publish button from the Greenhouse to update your live site!
Keep in mind: The embedded content will only appear as big as the embed code creates it for. Embed Responsively provides a generic size for embedding. Since this is a great tool for those that don't know code, we suggest either sticking with the size provided by Embed Responsively or finding a techy friend who might be able to tweak the copied code for you.
